Mission

CEUNEUROP is a research centre in the Faculty of Economics, University of Coimbra. The centre was founded in 1998 with the main objective to develop research activities on the problems arising from the European integration process.

Specific Aims:
- to promote scientific research and scholarly work;

- to encourage communication among economists working in related fields;
- to facilitate a wide dissemination of research output through its Conferences and scientific meetings;

- to publish discussion papers;

- to encourage academic mobility of its members with other institutions;

- to participate in research programmes and projects at a national and international levels.

- to organize seminars and conferences with themes related to European Union developments

The CEUNEUROP centre has been divided recently (2004) into two specific areas:

CEUNEUROP I , the Economics Section

CEUNEUROP II, the Law, Political Science and History Section
